Who Are We?
The Houston Omega Lamplighters is a non-profit organization that has mentored and prepared
countless young men across Houston to conquer the world by BUILDING THEIR BRANDS. We teach our
students that they alone possess the power to shape or reshape how the world views them. We
encourage and develop our students through meaningful dialogue, academic preparedness, life skill
workshops, community service, youth leadership conferences, college tours, and leisure activities.
Combining our dedication to Brand Building and borrowing from the African Proverb "It takes a Village
to Raise a Child" we were inspired to adopt our local Houston motto,
"Committed 2 Da Village...Committed 2 Da Brand!"
